Arlene May Katalinic nee Hagen

Arlene May Katalinic nee Hagen. Beloved wife of the late James Katalinic. Loving mother of Carolyn (fiancé Maggie Ruyle) Gilmore and James Katalinic.

Active in various political campagns, a proponent of small businesses, a supporter of the Mt. Prospect Public Library and an active member of the Mt. Prospect Community Emergency Response Team, Arlene was a very vocal participant in the community. Known as “Mrs.K”, she was a second mom to many, opening her home and lending an ear. She was a devoted and thoughtful friend and an inspiration of strength and grace to all who knew her.

Memorial gathering Saturday 2:00 – 6:00 PM with a Service at 5:30 PM at Friedrichs Funeral Home, 320 W. Central Rd., at Northwest Hwy., Mt. Prospect. Born December 8, 1944 in Chicago, a resident of Mt. Prospect for 27 years. At rest February 21, 2015
